I worked with the marketing team at lubricant company Castrol Marine on several major product launches between 2002 and 2010, providing PR and media support and also advertising, brochure, website and press release copywriting services.
2002 -Castrol Marine – UK/Europe/Asia/North America launch of upgraded range of Cyltech and new range of Seamax engine lubricant – media coverage ran over a nine month period and in more than 40 publications.
2004 – Castrol Marine – Global press campaign to launch TLX Plus (engine oil. Became the biggest marine lubricant product story of the year (by volume of coverage).
2005 – Castrol Marine – Launched FerryMax (lubricant tech support offer).
2007 – Castrol Marine – global launch of GreenDeck, the marine range of Castrol bio lubricant.
2008 – Castrol Offshore – global launch of GreenField, the offshore range of Castrol bio lubricant.
2009 – Castrol Power – launched new offer around improved gas turbine oil Perfecto XPG
2010 – Castrol Marine – launched Castrol Academy (technical training to support product offers)
